Angered Anticipation

With the release date of Mr Oizo's highly anticipated 'Lambs Anger' closing in quick, the groove cannot be stopped as Quentin Dupieux continues to keep the originality coming with fresh sounding tracks like "Jo" and "Two Takes It" (featuring the ever so sleek vocals of Carmen Castro). With other tracks on the release showcasing more of a classic Oizo sound (I.E. "Positif", "Hun" & "Z"), it's really great that you get the best of all his wonderful styles all combined into one solid sounding release. Also on the horizon, a remix release of the single, "Positif", featuring astounding remixes by LFO and fellow Ed Banger signee Mr Flash. Keep your calenders marked for November 17, you won't believe your ears!

Mr Oizo - Jo
So smooth, so groovy

Mr Oizo - Two Takes It (Feat. Carmen Castro)
A wonderful vocal track with some signature Disco flavor!

Mr Oizo - Negatif (Mr Flash Remix)
Wonderful! Trademark Ed Banger sound bleeding out of this one!

WTF is a Bass Weazal!?

Only found in the UK, Bass Weazals are an extremely rare species with only two known survivors to the Bass Weazal Empire. Bass Weazals are mostly known for their radical remixing of top artists today, some including Switch, The Futureheads, The Prodigy, Oh Snap!!, and more recently The Killers, completely annihilating their smash 2004 hit "Mr. Brightside" into a dance floor ready bomb. Along with all their remix projects, these furry super-producers have just about finished releasing an all original album planned to come out on Wearhouse Music entitled 'Twisted EP', featuring three original tracks and a remix from Lee Mortimer. Two words.. Get it! Here's some heat courtesy of the duo, Enjoy.

The Futureheads - Worry About it Later (Switch VS Bass Weazal Remix)
An enormous re-edit of an already enormous song, you have to hear this!

Oh my God, somebody smack me!

Complete with some old ravey synth stabs! Great remix of a Prodigy classic

A quite ridiculous remix, get ready for some explosive bassline madness!

Get Exclusive... Get Down

Oliver Twizt - Get Down (Feat. MC Roga) (Original Mix)
-In this track Oliver Twizt throws guitar chords, booming bass, and a bit of middle eastern flavor into the mixer, resulting in a ultimately satisfying tune that includes an insane delayed vocal drop.

Lucky Charmes & Kid Kaio - Electric Vibration (Original Mix)
-Kid Kaio and Lucky Charmes, both Netherland residents, have teamed up to create masterful minimal-tech tracks that will make you move. Can't wait to hear more from these two.

Moby - Ooh Yeah (D. Ramirez Haunted Playground Remix)
-Dark, Spooky, Epic. D. Ramirez has surely blessed us with a Moby track fit for Halloween.

Underworld - Born Slippy (Manuel De La Mare Mix)
-Currently No. 2 on Beatport. Don't be surprised if you hear the name Manuel De La Mare more often in the future. Finally, a beautiful, uplifting remix of this great Underworld classic!

Daniel Steinberg

Strait out of Berlin, the minimal monster Daniel Steinberg (also Harry Axt) takes the phrase "less is more" to a new level. His glitchy noises and thick bass go together like beer and pretzels, giving your ears a bit of joyous sound. Mr. Steinberg has releases on many top labels such as Microfon, Grandpetrol, Stylerockets, and more recently on Front Room. "Many UFO's use his music for there only means of communication around the galaxy." Enjoy!

Daniel Steinberg - Viwa La Fiwa (Original Mix)
Some poppin' drums, excellent classic sound and some fine bass

Daniel Steinberg - Pay For Me (Original Mix)

DJ Fist Takes On Tribal

DJ Fist is a name which I have grown quite excited to see new releases from. This Colombian DJ/Producer has been inspired by Ralphi Rosario, Danny Tenaglia, and more recently Antoine Clamaran & Robbie Rivera, helping put that tribal flare on his tracks that many of us have come to love. He has played a part in the launching of two record labels, Adverso Records alongside Mario Ochoa, and Reverence Recordings with fellow Colombian producer Noizzer. Check his tracks out and get them on Beatport!

DJ Fist - Get Away
Booming beats and great sound, although it is minorly repetitious.

The Nycer - Feel So Good (DJ Fist Mix)
Intense builds, uplifting female vocals, and a distict tribal beat.

DJ Fist & Robinson Valentti - Hypersonic

Wooooh! I feel like I'm walking through some sort of tribal techno carnival, Great track!

Also on the release, a cover by The Bewitched Hands On The Top Of Our Heads, a great east listener. The EP is out on Uncivilized World Entertainment and available for digital download on Beatport.

Thony Ritz Rockin' It!

Thony Ritz is an unknown name to most, while here at MildWild we've been rockin' steady to his smooth disco jams for days, and now we feel it's time you join us in getting back to some french touch. At the tender age of 10, Thony was being influenced by names such as Laurent Garnier and Carl Cox, leading to purchase of an old Yamaha PS-51, which then led him down a path that introduced him to artists like Alan Braxe, Daft Punk, and Cassius. In the years following, Thony started a radio broadcast show that aired once a week and showcased in snack bars around town. These events transcended into Thony doing his first gigs in Paris in various pubs and dancehalls, which later blossomed into his 2006 releases with White Weed Records, the 'You' and 'We'll Rock It' EPs. With 'We'll Rock It' in the top 10 Juno Downloads, Thony has continued to release quality Disco House and remains releasing tracks out on Montana Records through such digital download hubs as Beatport, Juno, and Ministry of Sound. Thony continues to build his solid reputation with My Major Company (A community quality-label which allows artists to be produced directly, having ambition to become the main portal of discovery in launching and monitoring of new musical talents in France, then in Europe) and is expected be blowing minds consistantly.

Class Is In Fckn Session : Mixtape Madness

Hope your ears are ready for 13 minutes and thirty-three seconds of Nils and Antonie from the Bastia based Fckn Crew. The lads sent over some glitchy-scratchy goodness for your listening pleasure, and naturally we're dealing with serious noise and some speaker squelching sounds if I do say so myself. The cleverly titled 'Class of Nuke'Em High Mini-Mix' showcases pure electronic mayhem and a hearty heap of Fckn Crew original songs that rip and tear their way into your ears in the very best way. With their songs being played out by artists like Les Petits Pilous, The Bloody Beetroots, and The Toxic Avenger (coming through with a thrashing remix of Fckn Crew original, "Carnage") , it would seem likely that you're soon to see these guys on the rise.

Some of you MildWild regulars may be familiar with shy boys Stefan Cipriano (Beverly Hills Tennis Club) & Duilio Pasquale (Snozbird) of Casual People, whom a short time ago were featured along with some personal and group mixtapes. It was only a matter of time before the boys cooked up some freshly crafted soundscapes for your auditory amusement, and with proper tracklistings and some crafty mixing, these arrangements are good to go.
