Creamfeild's 11th annual celebration included sets from Tiesto, David Guetta, the Swedish House Mafia, and the two artists featured in this mix; Yousef and Mark Knight. In the first hour, Yousef takes us on a journey through South American minimal, giant tech tracks, and funkalicious boogie. An amazing hour of House music to say the least. Mark's set focusses on the opposite side of the house music spectrum, but is no less entertaining. He intro's with La Roux's mesmerizing vocals in Mark's own remix of 'In For The Kill,' and flys through some excellent big room tech, up-lifting vocals, and moving bass. This weeks guest is no stranger when it comes to the Essential Mix. In 2005 he smashed the decks live at Space Ibiza, one of the most off parties of the year and now he's back to do it again in the '09. Erick Morillo constantly rocks the likes of Pacha in Ibiza at his legendary Subliminal Session parties, which was named "Best International Club" of 2002 and "Best Ibiza Party" of 2001 by Muzik Magazine. He has mixed countless compilation Cd's which he shows off his talent differently in every single one. Morillo's prestigious swagger while mixing is a sight to be seen and his track selection has to be considered pure pleasure, bringing an enormous crowd as he travels the world playing at the wildest parties imaginable. If your a fan of classic house, your going to love this mix!

Hop on in the boogie portal and lets take a trip back.. back.. way back to the super sounds of the 70's with my main man of funk, Greg Wilson. As you may have known, this Electro/Funk master had quite a bangin' Essential Mix this past month as he slapped down some mad tracks on the BBC. Starting his DJ career in the year of 1975 and becoming one of the most influential turntablists in the UK, Greg has been bringing us beats for quite sometime. After retiring in 1983 the man returns two decades later to reclaim his place on the funk throne, and by the sound of this Essential mix, he deserves it!
