The Proxy

Ok ok ok... We all know nothing says "F*&! You" like a quality slap from Moscow based producer The Proxy. And yes, we all know dropping "Raven" at any nightclub makes all the honeys involuntarily cream themselves, but what's a responsible DJ to do when even their Grandmother knows such catchy tunes? Well here at MildWild we love everything this man is doing and are excited to finally showcase some of his nuclear audio, along with a promotional mix done for Kissy Sell Out's (former) weekly show, "In New Dj's We Trust" on Radio 1, which I must say is completely insane. Check out what we have for you today and support The Proxy by purchasing his stuff over at Beatport.

Some visual insanity to accompany the sound that is The Proxy:

Have You Sena Him?

Every once in a while I like to get nostalgic and let loose on a MSTRKRFT esque synth binge in listening, returning to my favorites from months past to give me that little fix of aural electricity that I once craved so frequently. As I await the arrival of fresh works from such MildWild favorites as The Japense Popstars, Auto Erotique (Formally VND/LSM), and the afore mentioned, MSTRKRFT, I've been given a little help from a man who's all about that sort of heavyness, allowing myself to indulge in something a little more up to date. Dim Mak signee and San Francisco native, Dan Sena has been on a roll recently with the release of his brand new, 'Algarve EP'. Killer noiseyness, heavy synths and unstoppable ear humpage pack some of these tracks with that classic electro sound that gets so undeniably great sometimes, also while keeping it rocker with crazy guitar works. The Dan man sent me over a copy of the EP and gave me the greenlight to share my personal favorites in full quality, hope you enjoy it.

Dan Sena - The Rising Sun
Some classic guitars and pitchy business can be heard in this beastly synth take on a lawnmower blades day to day routine; Rip, Slice, Slice, Rip.

Dan Sena - Unfinished Buisness
Some bobbing, terrorizing filth. Sleeze filled and exsuberant at the same time, a great electro jam.

Schaaf Shtyle

Longtime MildWild friend and Electro Einstein, Harrison Schaaf, has been tucked away on the East Coast in the studio for a little while only to (unsuprisingly) surface with more trembling, tearing, top-knotch workings. Schaaf, who recently released his debut, 'Zombie Schtyle EP', on Innerflight Music, has been crafting cutty compositions for many a day now, and is no new jack in the field of bringing crushing and clashing goodness to the ears of all. Previously remixing the likes of the, "Hungarian One Man Boyband" : Andro, the ever elusive, Fagget Fairys, and East Coast based girl duo, Blunt Force Trauma, you need not be worried about the quality of anything coming from this guy, Harrison's got it under control. With that, it is with much excitment that we exclusively bring to you two brand spankin' new Harrison Schaaf remixes, one completely reconstructing and electrifying Hip-Hop/R&B Superboy, Ne-Yo's, "Closer", and another crunchy version of British vocal majesty, Wiley's, "My Mistakes". Look out for future productions coming from the Schaaf man and be sure to pick up his tracks on Beatport.

Wiley - My Mistakes (Harrison Schaaf Remix)

An absolutely fantastic take on an already fantastic track. Harrison Schaaf adds a little Dub-Step flavor to the mix!

Ne-Yo - Closer (Harrison Schaaf Remix)
A fully-fledged Electro bomb, signature ripping synths bless this Ne-Yo re-fix

Happy Thanksgiving
from all of us here at MildWild!

Music Freq

This post has been long over due, but we have to pay homage to a somebody who truely is an electronic mad man : The one and only Miles Dyson. I'm certain that he is already very well-known by most of the readers, and if he isn't then get to know him. After releasing, "Anthem", earlier this year, Miles has gained the respect of many "superstar disc-jockeys", and a home in the crates of top DJs such as Moby. These days Miles is a busy man and is currently in the middle of a massive tour, check his myspace for tour dates. The tour includes stops in Europe, South America, Mexico, Africa, Asia, and North America. As you can see this man is world-wide.

Miles Dyson - Anthem (Original Mix)

The one and only, it doesn't get much more epic than this.

Miles Dyson- Live in Mexico (Original Mix)
Excellent example of how Miles's gets down with basslines.

Greg Cerrone- Bullit (Miles Dyson Remix)
Good track with a good assortment of unique samples.

Josh The Funky 1-It's The Music (Miles Dyson Remix)
Another Dyson piece of gold.

Filthy Rich- Make You Freq (Miles Dyson Remix)
Excellent intro into a filthy bassline.

Morten Alick & Casper LT- In My Mind (Miles Dyson Remix)

The beat in this song is solid. Another amazing remix.

Parker- Western Soul(Miles Dyson Remix)
This track is very unique and I love it. Must Download.

Class Is In Fckn Session : Mixtape Madness

Hope your ears are ready for 13 minutes and thirty-three seconds of Nils and Antonie from the Bastia based Fckn Crew. The lads sent over some glitchy-scratchy goodness for your listening pleasure, and naturally we're dealing with serious noise and some speaker squelching sounds if I do say so myself. The cleverly titled 'Class of Nuke'Em High Mini-Mix' showcases pure electronic mayhem and a hearty heap of Fckn Crew original songs that rip and tear their way into your ears in the very best way. With their songs being played out by artists like Les Petits Pilous, The Bloody Beetroots, and The Toxic Avenger (coming through with a thrashing remix of Fckn Crew original, "Carnage") , it would seem likely that you're soon to see these guys on the rise.

Some of you MildWild regulars may be familiar with shy boys Stefan Cipriano (Beverly Hills Tennis Club) & Duilio Pasquale (Snozbird) of Casual People, whom a short time ago were featured along with some personal and group mixtapes. It was only a matter of time before the boys cooked up some freshly crafted soundscapes for your auditory amusement, and with proper tracklistings and some crafty mixing, these arrangements are good to go.

Vous êtes des Animaux, Vous aller Crevés

MildWild favorite and Ed Banger native, Mr Oizo, is due to release his new LP 'Lambs Anger' on November 17. Oizo has recently shown us the likes of the song, "Z", giving off a familiar technoesque sound and dark feel leaving listeners begging for more. And lets not forget "Bruce Willis Is Dead", the flabergasting concoction of bizzare synth stabs and pitch changed vocal loops that really does make for an epic slap in the face.

Now nearing the release date, Oizo has given the world a taste of yet another standard of sound from his new work. The track, "Positif", posseses such a classic Oizo sound (reminicent of "Patrick 122" and some of his earlier work with signature delay and glitchy edits), and is destined to be heard blasting out of big speakers very, very soon.

Mr Oizo - Z
One hell of a song, Oizo's genius is showing!

Mr Oizo - Bruce Willis Is Dead
Very noisy track, what some are calling Oizo's attempt at big bass. Doesn't stop MildWild from liking it!

Malente está Calienté

A name I've been paying close attention to for quite a while now, Malente is and has been doing big, big things. From his previous and unbeliveably unforgettable collaborations with Lars Moston, to his never ending slew of remixes and originals that seem to only get better. Most recently, we've seen the likes of his new journey into sound with Daniel Dexter on the new Hyperactive EP (Out Now On Exploited Records). Upon first listening, I was absolutely astonished and further encourage everyone to support these artists by buying this press and all other Malente oriented material.

Sigfried & Boy - The Architect (Malente Remix)
Containing a dark and distant vibe, this track is riddled with Malente's signature touch and ripped up sound

Foals - Electric Ballroom (Malente Remix)
Always been quite partial to the sounds of Foals, so naturally I was excited to hear Malente wrestled 'Electric Ballroom' to the mat

Pase Rock - Get Money Kids (Malente Re-Dub II)
Pase Rock meets Malente? Classic sound and radical bassline!

Malente & Dex - Hyperactive Medley
One of my favorite releases of the year so far, Malente & Daniel Dexter really do themselves justice with this release. Featuring two amazing remixes from Bobmo and Bird Peterson, with another two by Riva Staar; one vocal remix featuring Jammer & Frisco along with it's instrumental. Enjoy.
